Join Cara and Sarah at their workshop at the Gratitude Café in Wellington on the 1st February 2020 to gain a deeper insight into your all powerful hormones.
Develop a deeper understanding of how hormones influence many aspects of our lives, including our mood, energy and focus and discover movement techniques and nutrition advice to help you harness the power of your hormones!”
Running order -
2pm - 3pm Start off with a Pilates class with Classes with Cara.
My Pilates classes are suitable for both beginners and those more experienced in Pilates.
Adaptations, modifications and progressions will be given for each exercise so it will be all inclusive.
All equipment will be provided for you.
3pm - 3.15pm Talk from Cara on Health and Fitness
3.15pm - 4pm Gratitude Cafe! Chance to go downstairs into the Cafe and have a relaxing coffee, cake and socialise.
(I always need a tea after Pilates so it will be welcome!(
4pm - 5pm Nutritional talk with Sarah from Being Nutrition who is a Registered Nutritional Therepist. Her talk will take you through interesting areas such as -
Hormones – what are they exactly and why do we need them?
The main players in women’s health – how they interact with each other and need to work together?
Strategies for achieving the right balance in energy, mood, focus etc. – (e.g. balancing blood sugars, getting enough sleep, managing stress, the key nutrients (Mg, B vits, Phytoestrogens, Zinc, Vitamin D, Omega 3 EFAs)
Aiming to close around 5pm, but we will be around to answer questions and have a chat.
