Are you a runner? Then you need to attend this workshop!
The first two successful online Runners workshops have been massively succesful and therefore I am keeping this format.
It’s £6 for the session, you will need a mat or some space to do the exercises. If you have a long towel or dressing gown tie that would also be useful not not too important.
Please buy tickets from my website by following the link. I will then add you into a Private Facebook Group where the Live will take place.
If you have attended the sessions before and filled out a health questionnaire that's great, if not please have a look in the discussion tab of this event and see if you have any health issues which could cause complications. If you do please let me know.
Pilates helps to create a strong core, increase pelvis stability and promote good posture. All of which are fundamental to an efficient running style.
In addition, we will focus on incorporating a better breathing style and working on the strength and endurance of the muscles of the lower body.
High hips is a key factor in a strong running style therefore, we will work the glutes and posterior chain to facilitate this.
I will incorporate some maintenance and developmental stretches to increase flexibility - just what every runner loves!
This workshop will be beginner-friendly as I will give modifications and progressions for all abilities. Totally fine if you are a complete beginner, I always make my classes fun and no one takes it too seriously!
