About the Event
Pilates helps to create a strong core, increase pelvis stability and promote good posture. All of which are fundamental to an efficient running style.
In addition, we will focus on incorporating a better breathing style and working on the strength and endurance of the muscles of the lower body.
High hips is a key factor in a strong running style therefore, we will work the glutes and posterior chain to facilitate this.
I will incorporate some maintenance and developmental stretches to increase flexibility - just what every runner loves!
This workshop will be beginner-friendly as I will give modifications and progressions for all abilities. Totally fine if you are a complete beginner, I always make my classes fun and no one takes it too seriously!
It’s £6 to attend. No equipment needed as I have mats but more than welcome to bring your own.
