Then it’s time to re-learn your ABC’s?
As runners we love to run - that’s why we do our sport. Often, we think that to improve our running we need to just spend all our training time to just that, running.
However, if you want to improve your running efficiency and reduce injury, we need to look at the basics - Agility, Balance and Co-ordination, your ABC’s.
We also need to make the body stronger, more flexible and mobile.
Therefore, myself and Matthew Wright have teamed up to deliver a one stop workshop to accomplish these goals.
It will comprise of a outdoor running session in which Matthew will go through the ABC’s of running and give you exercises and techniques for you to practice on your runs.Followed by a Pilates class specifically designed for runners taken by myself. This will include exercises which will strengthen the core, deep stretches and a bit of fun!
Matthew Wright is a LIRF and CIRF trained through UKA (running coach!) and I am a keen runner and a Level 3 YMCA Pilates teacher, we are both fully insured and qualified.

📆 Saturday 4th April 3pm - 5pm
📍 The Oaktree Centre, Lightmoor
👟 Please wear running gear and suitable trainers. For the Pilates class you will need socks on and I would advise wearing layers as you might get hot and cold. Mats are provided!
